"The Eclipse" white out license plate frame
Bought it as a novelty, never been used by me or the guy I bought it from. Basically when it's turned on, your plate is readable, when the power gets flipped off, your plate whites out. I do not have the install directions, but shouldn't be hard to figure out, all the wires appear to be color coded. $100 plus shipping, or trade for?

Re: "The Eclipse" white out license plate frame
If I was a cop and saw this on the street I would hurt my hand writing tickets to the rider if I could see the plate number or not......

Hmmm looks interesting... Not sure what ticket youd get if ya weren't using it (have the plate blocked out) but im sure they'd figure something out even if they had to lie..

I know around here, if you park your bike on the street with an illegible license plate, it's impounded immediately. As the description says, when the unit isn't supplied with power, your plate is unreadable, i.e. every time you turn your bike off

A LEO wouldn't have to lie to cite you for having a device installed that is intended to obscure your license plate.
