Golf thread?

Lately seems like I've come across some members here that golf. Either talking with them in the chat read or seeing stuff come up in the purchase thread. Figured I'd start one for the golfers on the forum. I know a lot of people don't like golf or think its stupid and that's fine but just figured I'd make a spot for some of us to talk about playing, courses, equipment and the PGA tour if there's anyone else who follows it!

Re: Golf thread?

I broke the head off my driver doing some Tiger Woods stuff at my old apartment. I threw the ball up and whacked it about a foot from the ground and must have hit it right where the shaft meets the head I launched the ball and the head followed.

I haven't picked up another driver yet so I've been out of commission

Hahaha I actually would like to pick up golf sometime. I know golf is a very good business sport.

Haha I'm too afraid to try and hit the ball out of the air for that reason. I don't want to break anything lol.

It's actually a lot of fun. You're absolutely correct about it being a good business sport. It's just nice to play something that you can't master there's always ways to get better. That's why I like it at least it's a constant challenge.
