Re: Power Wheelie?

OMG NO WAY?!?!?!

But seriously...they come up in first pretty easy. I'm 215 and mine will come up in first.

Especially if the road your on has even the slightest incline, it will make a difference.

First week I had mine I went full throttle on a slight incline, front end came up A LOT, I panicked, chopped the throttle, and it slammed down, and then came up again again. LOL did I learn about better throttle control then.

Coming from a Buell blast will do that do that to you.

Haha does that really happen in 4th to you?

Crazy. How is the anti-wheelie system on the S1000RR? I heard the first year it's a little choppy, but the new models are much more smooth at stopping wheelies now.

And at 120 none the less...makes your asshole pucker up

The anti wheelie control is rather non invasive...you know its happening, but it doesnt chop the ignition as in earlier models...but that depends on what mode youre running in too...

I ride mine in slick mode all day, every day...every other mode to me is really no fun...in slick mode, the system will allow 5 seconds of wheelie before it interviens...

Other modes wont allow it period...plus, in slick mode, its a direct throttle response too...in the other modes, theres a delay in ratio for how much you turn the throttle...

One more thing: BMW figured you didnt need 190rwhp in 1st through 3rd gears...they tame it back a little, but in 4th, thats really where the fun begins
