I have a 2009 r6 and i have seen other bikes like mine with a third light. do the bikes come with it of is it an after market light... let me know and if you have any advice for me its greatly appreciated

Seriously?

3rd light is a mod. There is a mostly clear lens there, but no light inside.

If you didn't know that was a mod from stock, you are going to have a hell of a time installing one yourself. Good luck.

Use this link called "Search" a few inches from the top right corner. It will save you a lot of trouble/embarrassment.

My '07 has a light. Is it a 06/07 vs 08+ thing?

But yes. Only years that had a light in there was 06 and 07.
