yut ughh? : Yamaha R6 : R6 Forum

yesterday i started practicing power wheelies, i do it in first gear around 5-6000rpm and i close the throttle and open her back up and i get these bunny hops. today i got some that felt higher. i keep coming across the yut ughh on the site when im looking for some help and tips.

this this talking about engine sound?
and if it is, is this something i just need to hear/feel out for myself? or is there a rpm range and gear one would usually hit this in?

Clutch it up. It's a much safer and more controlled wheelie.

i tried 1 clutch up. i read the long article that The_student wrote in the sticky How to:

and clutch ups do sound safer, but i didn't like the sudden jerk feeling. i would asume you would get use to it..? And do you actually have to drop your psi for your tire? his article recommends it but... do you have too?
