FML 2 bikes stole from my house.

Looks like someone has been scoping me and my family for a while because some sneaky f*** stole my bikes. I dont know how they did it while I was home but I do believe they knew what they were doing. I ended up going to bed around 3 am and they were here but when my cousin woke up to go to work they were gone. so between 3 and 8 am. Bikes were not in a garage and didnt have theft insurance. ( FML) One was a blue 09 r6s new tires clear alternatives tail light frame sliders dan moto exhaust and blue rim tape. Other is a 09 raven r6 with a yoshi r55 slip on frame sliders and undertail kit and a blacked out windscreen. This happened in Hickory NC off of us hwy 321. If anyone local hears anything or knows anything about the bikes please pm me and let me know. Id gladly reward anyone who helps me find my bike. 3 years and nothing has happened to me or my neighbors. My neighbors even claim hes never had anything stolen from him since hes lived her for 15 years so its kind of a shock. Anyways I dont know what else to say just to damn depressed at this moment. Any helps is greatly appreciated thanks guys.

I don't know how people can own bikes and not have full coverage. These things are so easy to steal it's just too much of a risk to save a few bucks. Keep an eye on Craigslist and maybe they will be stupid enough to post parts on it.

Ouch. Homeowners insurance won't cover the loss?

Do you have any idea who it might be? Maybe someone you might know that tipped someone off or something? That situation REALLY sucks bro, really sorry to hear.

Sorry to hear it man... Keep an eye out on Craiglist in surrounding states, and Ebay and shit... Without insurance there's not much you can do... Hope you reported it to the police, but that never really goes anywhere... As stated above... Bike thefts are easy, and happen all too often... Good luck1

Because if you go 4-5 years, you can buy another bike for the amount of money you just saved on insurance that you didn't use.

Not sure if it's possible or what the price is to get just theft, but depending on where you are, full insurance might run you ~$1,500 a year. On a bike that's only worth $6-8k, that's just madness. It's never been worth it on any of the bikes I've owned.
