Integrated Tail lights: Motodynamic vs Custom Led vs... ?

I know this subject has bee covered a bunch of times but I can't find anaything recent.

I heard that Motodynamic have updated some of their components, and doubtless CustomeLed have too.

My question is, does anyone know which the CURRENT best integrated tail light is to get?

I'm not stuck on either of those brands.. I just want the best one for the best price.

Please post if you've had experience, (especially if you've seen and RECENT models, and even more especially if you've seen more than one brand in action).. I'd prefer not to have a bunch of fanboys for their *insert brandname here* jumping up and down about how theirs is the best.

Thanks!

Can't vouch for the new models of MotoDynamic but I had one in the past and they have worked flawlessly so I can't imagine anything wrong with their new model.

Re: Integrated Tail lights: Motodynamic vs Custom Led vs... ?

Hey thanks for the comments guys.. they're a heck of a lot cheaper than customleds, so I went ahead and bought one from Amazon.

I hope they're as bright as anything else on the market. I know some of the really cheap ones are way too dull and hard to see. Motodynamics seems to be the only one in that $70 range that can compete with CustomLeds and other expensive ones..

Re: Integrated Tail lights: Motodynamic vs Custom Led vs... ?

I had the same debate a few months ago, and ended up choosing the customLED. My decision was based on side by side comparisons between the motodynamic and customLED models. There are videos online of the comparison, but I was fortunate enough to know of 2 other riders, who have the brands listed above, and had purchased them recently.

What I found was the customLED was both significantly brighter, and easier to see the turn signal.

I also liked the blaster x function, which basically acts as hazard lights.

Fit & finish were excellent with both brands.

Not sure how the CustomLeds one works but I love the way the MotoDynamic flashes when you signal left or right.

Re: Integrated Tail lights: Motodynamic vs Custom Led vs... ?

I had a rock or something chip my motodynamic tail light last week. I think it was from when the construction workers were working on the streets and didn't clean up well when they were finished. My light is one of the new ones I believe, and I love it... they are very bright. I ordered another one to replace it.. will be putting it on today. Can't beat it for the money.

I bought mine on eBay and it looks great and works perfectly and for $24 shipped from Hong Kong not too shabby!
