Exhaust burning smx plus boots.

Just noticed this as I was cleaning my gear. Any one else ever have this issue? I'm thinking of wrapping my pipe in heat wrap. Just makes me like a* even less.

Why you mad bro?

Especially at A*? Sounds like the exhaust is the issue...

Sounds like an exhaust issue to me too. Wrap that thing tomorrow!

Did your feet never feel like they were burning off? Lol

Never felt any heat what so ever. I know its not the boots fault but lately I've been unhappy with some of my a* gear. I have some tech 10s that sit like 2 in away from the header and they never melted or anything.

Bike: some stupid ones
Re: Exhaust burning smx plus boots.

I have those same boots and they are junk IMO. Ive done 15 trackdays and a thousand road miles in them, and maybe 100 drag passes in them and they are roached. BOTH zippers are broken, the soles are super hard and provide very little grip anymore. I really wish I had spent the extra $150 on the Sidi's. I think Im going to get the Puma V1000 next, though.

I was looking very hard at those pumas. Ended up with the smx plus as well.

The are up to Version 3 now and I know a couple of people that have them and love them. I am just not sure if I want those or the Sidis.
