with a clamping ring, it fits over the muffler box pipe, just like a slip on would.

this is similar to the jardine megaphone series i had one on my bike and loved it. With a full system some states might require a baffle but with the stock cat box on all 3rd gens this thing will not be loud loud.

no i did not, it doesnt come with a peg bracket, never shook or even budged with a clamp ring like i had it, See pic above. The chrome hotbodies does come with a peg bracket, but the black one doesnt, dunno why, but yea, lemme know if you have anymore questions
