'99 to '02 Tail light conversion...over posted....i know.

i know this topic has been covered more times then shaq has missed free throws, but the "how to" links seem to be down. i have the 02 undertail, battery box, integrated tail lights. my question is: can someone point me to the place that can show me the process of this conversion? and will in need to a)dremel the '02 battery box to fit the '99 battery, or b) buy the '02 battery.

hi, probably a little late. but i am aslo looking to do this conversion. and what i have found out is that it is best to buy the 01-02 battery box and the 01-02 battery. and the how to links i have found are all down/dead. hopefully if you have found or are going to find a new link please post it here so i can use it too

my conversion turned out great, i bought a oem battery box for an 02, oem undertail for 02, intergrated tail lights. i had to cut alot of the batterbox off but everything fits tight and clean. I took alot of pictures if you want me to post them let me know.

Awesome! one question was it hard to get the new lights working? i have very little knowledge of electronics (not afraid to try though)

Not really, pretty straight forward, a little trial and error. I used the resistors, some dont. Make sure to use a soldering iron and shrink tape.
