I bought the 2009 R6 back in June of 2011 as my first bike and was quite nervous because I had never been on two wheels of any kind other than a bicycle. I took things super slow at first and still go at my own pace and don't let others push me beyond my limits because I am no Valentino Rossi by any means. But I feel like I need to start my own build thread to share my story with others and let everyone know what's going on down here in sweet home Alabama. I will try to post pics in the proper order based on the timeline that the mods were installed.

Parts List:

First time actually on the R6, I know I'm in shorts but I was riding up and down my street never getting over 20 mph plus it was like 100 degrees that day lol. I was scared shitless if you couldn't tell lol.

I bought my white '10 last yr for my 24th bday in may of 2011, rode around my development for days, hills included.. Its a little tricky still. But thats good u have ur gear.. Just missing some boots & ur good

My first mods had to be a smoked Puig double bubble windscreen and a blacked out visor for the shoei.

That's how I started out, I didn't get out onto an official street with traffic for a 2 full weeks. And the boots might happen this Christmas if my girlfriend is still cool
