The Arrogant Asshole Alcohol Review Thread

We have a lot of stupid threads here... and a lot of talking about drinking.... and a lot of drunk posting.... But for the life of me, I dont recall ever seeing a thread about alcohol reviews.

We've all bought a killer brew at a good price, or bought something we hoped would be good that turned out to be undrinkable, so why not do some information consolidation to help avoid the bad and enjoy the ever loving shit out of the good.

The key here is to get the point across, so lets try to keep it useful, not something like "BUDWEISER IS THE KING OF BEERS FCUK YEAH /THREAD". Please, keep the chit chat to a minimum unless directly related to the cause. You can tell the story of how you drank so much you puked on your girlfriend in another thread.

Provide the following information like I have in the example below:

What the fcuk is it? Bacardi Oakheart rum
How much booze is in it? 35% by volume
How big is the bottle? 750ml
How much was it? $9.99 USD (I put dollars because if you dont use dollars, your country blows. Sorry, its just inarguable )
Where did you get it? Bel Air Supermarket.
Was it worth the purchase price? Why or why not? In a word, no. I feel the need to explain why. Based on its own merits as a alcohol to be consumed on its own over ice, its fcuking terrible. Almost like rubbing alcohol that is brown. And its only 35% so you have to drink more of this fcuking swill to get the job done. Now mixed with coke, it was fairly drinkable, and it helps that its cheap. The lower alcohol content means you can drink more and still maintain, too. Really though, Id rather find Sailor Jerry on sale for the usual $12.99. Its a little more money, but also a full 11% stronger at 46% by volume, has a little bit more flavor, and has a little more style.
The Final Word: Pass on this stuff and find a bottle of Sailor Jerry on sale and know you made the right choice.

I picked up a bottle of local High West rye, and it f'n rocks. If you're a whisky drinker, check it out.

That is all.

I do love a good rye whiskey.... Where and how much?

Upon further inspection, I must try this High West...

Santa Fe brewing company. Pale ale. About 5.4%. Good beer worth trying. About $8 a six pack.

Crown Royal Maple
Size: fifth (750ml)
Alcohol content: 35%
Price: $22

It has that initial bite to let you know it contains alcohol but the aftertaste literally is 100% maple. Like pouring syrup on your tongue minus the thickness. It's amazing and the best Canadian whiskey I've come across so far.

Re: The Arrogant Asshole Alcohol Review Thread

Probably heard me rant and rave about it before.. Not entirely sure if it's in the States yet, but keep an eye open. This stuff is absolutely mind blowing, it will be there soon.

What the fcuk is it? White Owl spiced whiskey, also have it in white. (A Canadian whiskey)
How much booze is in it? 40%/Vol.
How big is the bottle? 750ml
How much was it? ~$40 in Canada
Where did you get it? ..... The beer store
Was it worth the purchase price? Why or why not? Absofcukinglutely. It goes down like juice after the 1st drink. Has the great whiskey flavor, but not so gnarly it's hard to drink. A drink you can have all night long, start to end. It'll get ya fcuked up though.

What the fcuk is it? Fireball Cinnamon Whisky
How much booze is in it? 33%
How big is the bottle? Varies
How much was it? From $1 to <~$20
Where did you get it? Local liquor store. Can get it anywhere.
Was it worth the purchase price? Why or why not? Yeah. It's great!
The Final Word: This stuff is delicious. I've never taken a straight shot, and I've only had it with Coke, but I love it. Tastes like a fireball!
