New member..what's up
Alright hey been wanting to get a bike for 2 years and so i took the safety course a month ago and got a 2004 yamaha r6 as my first bike couple days before the storm Sandy hit us..(NJ). Perfect timing..
So here's my first problem..
New to bikes and cleaned and washed my bike after the storm..
(like a car apparently..)
Rode it to my friends to show, parked.
Showing and it won't start, tried to jump it, it started so left it for a couple and it shuts off.
Guy who seems to know a lot about bikes looked at it.
Says the battery is fine but something wrong with the wirings. Error code 1.
Showed me the alarm system was wet and letting it dry out might fix it..
Any ideas what else could be the problem..?
Letting it dry is the only thing I'm doing so far and i cleaned it yesterday

What part of Jersey are you in?
If you're up north I would definitely suggest taking it over to Bauce Racing
ChiefSmokeDawg is the owner
Shoot him a PM and he'd be more than happy to help you out with your issue
