need help, sluggish in 1st gear

I got on my 04 R6 to ride to work, once on it I noticed it was sluggish and unresponsive in 1st gear and partly in 2nd. The rest of the gears are fine. Need help please.

Re: need help, sluggish in 1st gear

Sounds like a dirty or bad TPS. Was the bike fully warmed up? Go into diag mode and check the stored codes (read how in your service manual). You can do a TPS test while you're in there too, twist it slow and see if the number jumps around, and make sure the min and max numbers are within spec.
