Electroluminescent Tape

Anyone know if I can run this type of tape on my jacket during night riding in California? Don't want to get pulled over and cited.

I would think yellow or white would be okay.

Can only assume red and/or blue, would be a no go.

Although, you do run the risk of being pulled over by the gay police.

Why not just wear a high-visibility vest over your jacket? I've seen that quite a bit actually, and it's not illegal in any state, and it's not gonna get ruined in the rain, and it's cheaper, and it'll work better too. Yup.
