Exclamation Wheelie Question!!!!!

okay so i went out and tried and failed hard!
i didnt know what i was doing but now i wanna learn the right way

so last time i was rollin in 1st at abt 30mph and i pulled in the clutch and i completely let off the gas(like i said i didnt know what i was doing ) sat there for a lil bit then pulled the gas and let off the clutch and shit just 12oclocked on me was bad!

anyways now its back on the road so im trying again! i really wann do this

so am i suppose to be going in first at abt 30mph and just slip the clutch and keep on the gas and drop the clutch?? how much rpm to give it before i drop the clutch???
oh and i have a 2006 R6s if that matters!

It does. The R6s can't do wheelies.

In all seriousness though: 15 mph in first, start accelerating, pull clutch in with one or two fingers, release, profit. Cover that rear brake so you don't loop it again.

6000rpm in first and completely pops the clutch. That did it for me on my 05.

When i was learning to do them i would be in 2nd gear, go full throttle, slip the clutch at around 6k (still at full throttle) and would have trouble keeping it up because id accidently keep backing off the throttle.

If i were you id try 2nd gear at 10k rpms all full throttle and slip the clutch all at 100% full throttle.... i know it sounds crazy cause you will be doing like 70 mph but the more momentum forward you have the harder it is to 12 o clock it (atleast for me). If that doesnt work lower the rpms a bit. After awhile you can play with the rpms and throttle to get it up at lower revs.

Re: Wheelie Question!!!!!

Try this:

1st gear. Sitting or staggered, doesn't matter. Roll at 5-10 mph. Same time: BLIP clutch and turn throttle to 50% = HOLD the throttle steady (don't back off or give more gas)

If it comes up to high and you OH SHIT moment. tap the rear brake. if it doesn't come up high enough, repreat with more throttle input.

Take babysteps till you get there.
