Hey guys I'm new in this forum, don't have an r6 but have had a
97 CBR F3
06 ZX6R
And just sold my 08 ZX6R. Was thinking about getting an r6 2006 and up so I decided to join the forum.
Looking forward to it. Enlighten me.

Go 08+ if you have the opportunity. They helped the mid range in the engine so it is much more friendly. The 06-07 acts kinda like a 2 stroke with all the power up top. After all that torque on your zx6r you'll be frustrated with the early models of the 3rd gen.

What kind of money are you looking to spend? 08+ would be the way to go if you have the cash but I have an 07 and couldnt be happier. The 3rd gens are BEASTS above 10k.
