WOW $500 Million

I saw today that the Powerball is up to $500 Million.

So I was wondering if any of you were to win.

What would be the first 5 things you would do ?

Hire a lawyer. Hire a financial adviser. Move the hell away from everyone. Build a house on a bunch of land. Drink beer.

Has anyone ever taken the annuity payments?? The difference here would be millions. I wonder why that isn't the common choice??

I think I would probably do the annuity in this case, especially. Most people arent forward thinking enough to live on a budget. I mean hell, you just won the largest lotto jackpot ever. You traded a dollar for half of Oprah's net worth. The gravity and reality of that setting in would make anyone make poor decisions.

**** the annuity... 250 million straight up is enough for me to live off of for the rest of my life.
