So after some research ive decided that its best to not cheap out on these. Previous owner had some cheap ebay ones on the bike and when he crashed it actually just bent the bolt. So I have decided on getting a set off woodcraft sliders when money allows. But my question is ive seen people running dual frame sliders. ones in the normal spot and then a set closer to the rear set. What are these labeled as? Are they a good idea to have as well? Thanks
I've heard it called a clutch slider on the right side I believe..
Yep. Clutch slider. Type it into google images and you'll get a bunch of hits. Personally I have never used them or seen anyone with them on their bikes in person. But I could see how they could be beneficial, plus they don't add any significant weight or otherwise hinder the performance of your motorcycle.
what everyone else has said. Woodcrafts are harder to install as you have to cut the body, but WELL worth it. Mine have been tested (g/f now wife dropped it when i was trying to teach her to ride....leason learned). Spools are good insurance as well, plus makes it easier to pick the bike up with a nice stand.

They are not harder to install. They just need opening up the fairing a bit with maybe a dremmel tool, ~15-30 minutes more than other types. Measure twice and cut once
