lowering the front

I have already lowered the rear 3" with a lowering link and I would also like to lower the front for the drag strip and to level the bike out. I am planning on pulling the forks through the triple clamp, but i'm not sure how much i should lower it. Should i lower it 3" in the front also or is there a specific ratio i should follow to try to keep the geometry of the bike as close to stock as possible? i'm not too worried about handling because i mostly just ride on the street and drag strip.

You planning on using straps up front?

Re: lowering the front

I'd lower the front to match for aerodynamic purposes.
