Talking New paint job idea

I just finished 5-7 coats of red and black on my plastics, levers, and rearsets. Used plasti dip. Shits amazing. It's cheap, easy clean-up, durable, matte color, and you can remove it and redo it anytime you want. Check out dipyourcar.com for the best color selection. It comes in all sorts of colors, liquid for high volume spray applications, aerosol for rims/parts/etc, and the even have a taillight smoker. You can usually find the red/black/clear aerosol cans for about $9 at ace hardware...but only in those colors and usually no more than 3 cans of each. If youre wanting to try a new color but don't want to spend an assload of cash for some something you might not like try this shit, it's wicked.

Show us some pics!

That crap is pretty awesome. Just be careful when applying it to metals.

If you get any cuts or holes in the dip, and then get moisture under there, you can have issues. Moisture can stay under the dip for a long time, and cause problems. I'd love to see how your fairings turned out

I went over some welds and scratches in the plastic...it didn't cover it entirely...but it did a hell of a lot better than paint.
