So another $500 in parts and labor. $3800 for an 06 us a good deal - but not a steal. I'd seriously look at getting it though for that price.

if thats not a steal, then im looking in the wrong places. seems like average price for an 06 r6 around me is 4500

~$500-700 under the average isn't a steal. it's a GREAT deal though. personally, i think ~$3200 for a titled - in good shape - bike is a steal. if all it really needs is a valve adjustment, then that's a ~$400 job or so. if it's not just valves, you could be screwed.

Great deals are out there, I got my 08 R6S with 7k miles for $2300, repairs cost all of $100.

The rims are also 2007, if he replaced it because they were damaged in the accident it could have been something serious. It says negotiable, so if you can get it for under $3k then would be a steal

yeah i just talked to him on the phone. he kept must have said "all it needs is a valve adjustment" like 6 times. but then he wants me to meet him in harlem.... no thanks. its not because i think i'll get robbed but this looks sketchy... 07 wheels 07 plastics. it just doesnt look right to me im passing on this one
