Is there anyway we can get the language filter disabled for img and url tags?
Meaning - if the URL for an image or link happens to contain a string of characters that match a swear word, it'll get replaced with *s and breaks the link. Since people are often posting links that contain computer-generated URLs (Youtube videos, for example), it's not something that can really be worked around on our end.
The filter should only parse actual message text, and not the text inside of those specific tags.
Honestly, I think the whole language filter thing is kind of silly. We all know what stuff it filters, and just purposefully misspell them whenever we type them anyway. An easy solution would be to just turn that off all together.
Yeah, you can go use a redirector like that one, or TinyURL, but it's kind of a PITA if you just want to post a video or image or something. It'd be nice if things just worked.

Hmmm you bring up a good point... Hopefully Stew sees this
i need examples so I can figure out what words might need adjusted.
I'm pretty sure the f-bomb is the only swear word the forum filters. Thanks for looking into it! It's something that happens pretty rarely, but when you get bit by it, it's really frustrating.
