Best shorty exhaust for 2002 R6

I want to get a new exhaust installed for my 2002 R6. It's a first generation carbeurated. I want shorty exhaust because I dont want the hanger coming off the tail to support the exhaust. And, of course, I want a loud exhaust. Something that sounds mean and loud haha. Anyone have any recommendations? Experiences? Or something specific for this bike? Thanks and maybe costs too, just to get an idea of what I'd spend $$

well the only shorty exhaust that i know of that are made for our 1st gens is called a HR1 RIOT. its about a few hundred dollars i believe.
Any other shorty exhaust you want on your bike you will have to mod it to fit. There are a few threads on here about modding a factory 06+ muffler onto our bikes and it looks really good to and i have read its pretty dam loud.. maybe you will have to look into that!
