How much coolant?

Hi every one! I was planning on switching to engine ice because most people seem to suggest it. I was wondering if 2 bottles of engine ice is really necessary or can i make do with 1 bottle(1/2gallon)???

In the link bellow i noticed the guy in the video made it work with 1 bottle. What do you guys think?

I store my bike in a heated garage also.

2 bottles. don't mix or dilute engine ice.

also, if you're not doing track days, spending this much on coolant is just a waste of cash; stick to regular coolant...

Engine ice is better than regular coolant though

no it's not. not by a LONG shot.

in my opinion, engine ice exists ONLY to satisfy the requirement of some track day orgs that engine coolant not contain certain types of glycol (or whatever) so that, in the event of a wreck and a leak, it's easier to spray off the track.

it doesn't make the bike run better, it's not better for the bike, there's ZERO difference in engine temps and, because of the lack of certain elements, it may actually DO more harm that regular coolant.

bottom line; if you're not REQUIRED to run it, DON'T. just use regular coolant...
