Why a road bike is better for long ride then a mountain bike.

Road bike travels easier longer distances. Stay on nice paved roads and suspension wont matter. Road bikes are also lighter and take less energy to move. Try going 20mph on a mountain bike on flat ground.

It actually makes sense to analyze bicycle dynamics to understand motorcycle dynamics since they are both similar. However, I don't really see any of that going on here...

Real Men ride Mountain Bike for long rides, In the Hardest Gear only uphill.

among the hundred of reasons why "ROAD" bikes are better for longer distance on ROAD, unless its a long distance on a trail, then I would want a trail bike and not a road bike or many its a long cycle-cross course and then I would want a cycle-cross bike, Kind of a mix between the two..
oh and one slight differance...
