The feed tube coming out of the bottom of my fuel pump (07 r6) broke off. Since this is obviously an important part I don't want to try to fix it with JB weld or something similar. The pump still works fine and I'd hate to spend ~$75 on a new one just because of this.
Do you know if I can buy just the bottom plastic piece for the fuel pump? If not I guess I'll just try to find a pump that the motor went out on and go from there.
Had the same prob. Your better off finding a used pump, and make sure its 06-07 because they have the stright nipple, the 08 plus has a 90degree nipple and will kink your fuel line, wich will cause the bike to shut off while 5 miles from home ( speaking from experience) not fun!!!!

lol
everytime i do any work on my 08, when you lowering the tank it kinks the shit out of the line, its bad design, i actually put a metal "spring" around my line to keep it from doing that
