2006 R6 or Honda CBR600RR

Hey everyone. im new to this forum and i need your help. i have been riding for about a year and i want a new bike. I love the 2006 R6 and i need to know why i should get an R6 and not a Honda 600RR. i hear different things from everyone but i want to know why R6 are so good. i love how they look and i drove a 2001 R6 that my buddy had and i loved it. Any encouragement to be a R6 fan.

In the words of Ricky Gadson "Anyone who isn't on a Yamaha this year is going to have problems." He race a new R6 in Cycle World, pulled off a 9.93. He said it best.

Not to be a dick, but in your post you state you love the 2006 R6, you drove a 2001 R6 and loved that, you didn't make one comment (good or bad) about the 600RR and you want to know why you should buy the R6 and not the 600RR??? Call me stupid but I don't get it!!!!

If you need help deciding though:

1 - the sweet looks of the R6
2 - the price of the R6 compared to the 600RR
3 - the speed of the R6
4 - only cool people ride R6's
5 - all other 600's suck!!!
6 - your in the R6-Forum.com - do you really think we would recommend a Honda???

Its going to be hard to top.

No offense guys, but perhaps it's too soon to say and the jury is still out on this one? Oh there will be plenty of reviews coming out very soon. Give it some time and see.

well to be honest with you, i drive a honda cbr right now and i love that too. i want to buy the yamaha, and i know that whatever i get i will like it, i just want to hear the yamaha side. i went to the dealer yesterday, the salesman wasn't very assuring. i said "i'm looking to get either the r6 or the 600rr" and all he said was "you want the r6"..... i was hoping for a little more enthusiasm. but either way, im will be putting my deposit down on the 2006 R6 and now i have to decide either team yamaha blue or raven. thanks for all the help everyone.
