a simple question?
hello everyone, this is me first post so excuse me if this is a silly question. i just bought a blueflame 'road legal' race can from a friend of mine (U.K. removable baffles type). he had it on his 98 R1, so i got hold of the correct link pipe and fitted it to my 01 R6. my first question is, are the actual end cans the same for each manufacturer (for example, the same can would be ok for both bikes, just different link pipes). the second question is do i need to rejet? the manufacturer says not, but i am noticing quite a rich smell since fitting the can, is this normal? there also seems to be water dripping from where the can joins the link pipe on starting (condensation?). im new to biking so any response will be appreciated, my r6 is a minter and i would hate to damage the engine (i have heard horror stories!) i havent done a search on this topic cos its my first time on the site and its late and im going to bed! cheers.
