At a Loss

So I just took off my grey fairings on my bike to replace the exhaust, and on both fairings, there is a scratch running from one end to the other, throught the yamaha logo. again, on BOTH sides. I havnt been down, layed it over, hit anything, etc. I CANNOT FIGURE IT OUT!! both of these marks are almost a mirror image of each other. anyone else have similar scratch that they cant figure out?

Re: At a Loss

haters...

What grey fairings?

Thats not cool... I am sure if you were on it when it happened the scratch would have continued onto your body...

Re: At a Loss

I have a blue bike, so the the fairings are grey on bottom. (blinkers go in this fairing).

Re: At a Loss

The only thing I can think of is a ramp scraping the bottom when loading onto a truck.

Ever load your bike on a truck?

Re: At a Loss

I've only helped with loading a bike on a truck ONCE. It was my old GS500f when i sold it. The bottom scraped the ramp a bit, but luckily it was only the exhaust header pipe.
