Question about Micron slip on

This may be a bit of a newb question, but that's what I am when it comes to this stuff.

My 2000 R6 currently has a D&D slip on installed and I just bought a Micron slip on to replace it. My question is, can I just switch the cannisters, or is it necessary to replace the midpipe that's currently on the bike with the one that came with the Micron? Thanks.

Re: Question about Micron slip on

I would use the one Micron supplied. There could be fitment issues you can't see if you keep the old one on.

Re: Question about Micron slip on

I doubt that the Micron exhaust will even fit on the D&D midpipe.
