The pumas are awesome!! Those are the ones i want, but since i cant afford them.. I am getting these for my bday..
more for street riding.. hope they look good with my dainese 2 pc.. =)
wow, so even forgiving the fact that you didn't look down like 3 threads to see the current boot thread.... if you get "hightop" boots, you'll regret it. I just had a friend that got "hightop" style boots, and along with 3 broken ribs and a bruised heart, he's nursing a broken ankle. Just get any boot on the shelf and they'll be fine for street riding.
Any of those track boots won't be comfortable for walking around in. I've got a pair of Sidi B2 boots and the souls are too thin to walk around for long in. But on the bike they're great!
Just bring an extra pair of shoes in a backpack so you can switchout to a more comfortable shoes to stroll around in, then put your proper riding boots on when it's time to roll. If you're gonna get some high-top style riding shoes, you might as well save your money and sport your tenny's cause that's what it's gonna feel like you got on when you get bucked off.

I just picked up a pair of Icon Superduty boots and look forward to wearing them this summer. Love the looks and I can wear them to work, they may not be the safest boots available but they are better than regular shoes and they seem very comfortable from the times I have worn them just walking around.
