Brand feedback wanted for full exhaust. help a noob!!

I've been browsing through these forums looking around at what people have said about exhausts, and especially people's views about the different brands.

I'm getting a full exhaust system for my 2004 R6, (and of course the he PC3 and air filter), and plan on spending around 1000 for the exhaust system.

Just wondering if people could throw some brands at me, what you guys have, and like, and what you have heard bad things about. I'm looking for good sound more than anything, since originally I wanted just a slip-on, but after reading everybody's posts on how that's a waste I decided to go with the whole thing.

I'm looking at a Graves system right now, it's around my price range, and everyone seems to say good things about it.

Welcome to the forum. Akrapovic, Graves, Ti Force, Leo Vince, and Arrow all make quality full systems. Do all your mods then take the bike in for a custom map to get the most out of it.

which Graves system are you looking at?
I am divided between Akra (regular style), Graves (World GP), and Termi (GP style)...

I was also trying to find racefit pipe but a dealer told me they are not sold in US anymore... besides they dont have a full system for racefit...

this would be perfect for me

Re: Brand feedback wanted for full exhaust. help a noob!!

Everyone will tell you to buy what they have. So, I won't be any different. I have the Graves full system and love the thing. Sounds very throaty at low engine speed and screams like a Banshee in the upper revs. With a good custom map in the PCIII, it has a very noticeable gain in power. I love it!!!

Edit: Of course my bike is an 06 so things will be a bit different. Graves products are like works of art though.

Still in the process of putting on the braided brake lines and some other goodies!!

I was looking at the Graves Full Titanium (either world GP or supersport style, have no idea what the difference is in appearance, but I need the passenger foot pegs to remain.)

http://www.gravesport.com/Products/E...R6_03-05.shtml

is where I'm looking at it. If i can find an Akra or Termi in my price range, I probably would go with whichever I think sounds and looks the best.

Thanks for all the input!
