Failed license test

Finished all the excercises and the instructor walked up to me and says "You obviously know what you are doing and you would have passed if you wouldn't have forgotten to put your visor down on that last excercise."

Forgot the sunglasses at home that day.

Re: Failed license test

Sounds like he was tryin to bone you dude. My instructor told me to keep my visor down at the first exercise and I didn't do it the whole rest of the time and he said it was ok cuz it was so damned hot out. But he said I didn't use the rear brake on my test stop......but I did...

Re: Failed license test

Visor in some states could be like the seat belt thing in a car. If you don't put your seat belt on that is an automatic fail. Doesn't matter what you do after that mistake. If you start the car without the seat belt on boom your done.

Re: Failed license test

Had a similar thing happen to my on my first road test. pulling out of the parking lot of the DMV...I left too much space between me and the curb.

So I am at the stop sign just about to leave the DMV parking lot waiting to hear from the the instructor as to which way to turn. He pulls up next to me on my right side and told me to turn right.

Apparently this was an automatic fail. I passed everything else..but he "had" to fail me because of the initial right turn. WTF...I was not even out of the parking lot yet!

It was a DMV test so I only paid $45 to get my permit. I put my foot down twice but that was not enough points to fail. Apparently it was an automatic fail for no eye protection. Needless to say I will remember my sunglasses next time.

SHE was a total bitch from the beginning and during. Also it had just rained the night before so my bike was wet and the bitch flicked cigarette ashes all over it so that pissed me off as well.
