was watching the news a bit this morning and they were talking about how the does in virginia are now in such high numbers that they're considered pests (like the pigeons in college station or dove in argentina). and this made me realize that hunting season is just around the corner, which me wonder:

any hunters on here? what do you hunt for/with?

me: deer and/or hog; remington 710 (.270) OR Fred Bear Element, 29.5", 65# (bow)

yeah boi. deer, hog and leg taco. 30.06 with sig series burris scope.jk about the leg taco. i have a fiance, but i can dream.

Ducks and deer. Browning over/under 12 gauge, winchester 30/30, Weatherby .300 magnum (an animal), and 30/06

I consider myself a hunter but the deer population has depleted so bad due to fires here in NV that I have not drawn a tag in 5 years. Its so discouraging and irritating. I am beyond jealous of all you who can buy over the counter tags. I hunt my deer with a ruger 270, I love that thing.

Since I can't seem to find a deer tag I am limited to ducks and chucker which I shoot every weekend I have open starting in october.the fishing and duck hunting are great here in nv so atleast I got that going for me.

dude i dont even know what your talking about when you say "tag" (city boy here)..

but seriously... glock 23. i have 6 glocks, each of em have seen animal bloodshed

i also have a police shotgun that my dad was issued 3 years ago..and they forgot he has it

i went qual hunting somewhere out of state..dont know..with that thing... got 2 of em.
