Moving to Orlando, FL.

What's up everyone. I am going to be moving to Orlando sometime in February or March. I have been down there before, but only for a visit, plus I was not the one driving. The only roads we really went on were highway like. I am going to be down there for a little over a year, with only my bike (as of now anyway). I know that Florida is flat, which isnt a big deal. There must be good roads to hit up though, right? Non-highway/really twisty type??

If any of you that live in this area can help me out, that would be awesome. I'm sure that once I get down there, we can meet up for a bike night/group ride sometime. For now, any road routes will help!

Thanks in advance.

What part of Orlando are you going to be living in, I know of a few places that are pretty good....

I'm moving down there to attend MMI. I don't know exactly where I am going to be living as of yet, but I went down there for about 2 weeks and was around South Orange Blossom Trail. I'll be around there, somewhere..

Thats cool, yeah I went to MMI back in 2004, had a few family problems and had to drop the program, right before I started dealer specific courses, I was gonna take Yamaha and Honda.... Let me know when you get down here, we will go ride...

Re: Moving to Orlando, FL.

Yeah, that would be awesome. I would like to meet as many people who ride as possible. Bring whoever you usually ride with. Its cold and shitty here, so I'm sure I will be eager to ride by March.

I was hoping that more than one person would reply to this. I was only down there for a week(ish) and saw numerous bikes everyday! Where is everyone?!

Re: Moving to Orlando, FL.

I am not to sure where everyone meets up on Bike night anymore, I really don't get to go out on Bike night anymore, work has me out of town through the week. But I am pretty sure we could get some people together for a good day on the weekend.....

Re: Moving to Orlando, FL.

Sounds good! I can't wait to get down there. I almost did about a year and a half ago, but it fell through due to family issues we were having. I wish that I would have gone then, I would be done by now and enjoying life a lot more than I have been! After you start school, keep me posted on what you think of being in those classes. What makes are you taking?
