Anyone see the race?

I had to work this past weekend but I did get to catch some of the race in between assholes. It was fun watching it on over 20 big screens at one time. (Love my job at times) Mladin did all that crying and held off the Hondas. Can't wait till next race and the start of Moto GP. What did Honda do to all those 600s? 1-4 in the exteme class Whow!!!!

ya, missed the races on thursday but caught them on saturday. I don't know what was up with the FX Hondas but they did whip ass. The highlight of course had to be Yates losing his shit! That was th emost surreal thing. I kept waiting for him to climb up the fence and drop the elbow on the guy he ran into! What a doooooosh on a well performing macheen!

I watched soem of the races on Saturday. Did anyone else see Matt Mladin drop kick that guy after teh wreck? Then after they were separated, Matt ran back to him and head butted teh other guy! He was pissed cause that other rider caused the wreck.

I've seen a few arguments saying that the other guy (Fania) caused Yates to crash. They said that he didn't hold his line etc. There are a few things to consider here. First, Yates was passing on the outside in a corner where no one ever does that. Even if they had mirrors, Fania wouldn't be suspecting something like that to happen. Yates, being the rider behind (much like the uphill skier on a mountain) has the obligation to avoid the riders in front of him, backmarker or not. he could have simply waited till after the turn to overtake him. The only reason that Fania would have left his line and moved out into Yates is that he was shown the flag to warn him that he was a lap-rider and the leaders where coming thru. In which case he did the right thing and that was to move to the outside of the racing line where Yates ran into him since Yates wasn't on the line. So pretty much no matter how you look at it, Yates ****ed it up all for himself and then made himself look like a complete asshole when he went ape shit on the poor guy. Hopefully the AMA fines and suspends Yates for a few races for his incredibly poor sportsmanship and unprofessionalism.

But damn it if my damn tivo didn't get working in time cuz just as I set it up, the access cards in my Direct TV reciever expired and I didn't realize the new ones were sitting on the mail! Hopefully I get this resolved shortly and I'll be recording as many of the races as I can throughout the season and then if someone wants a copy, maybe someone here can host them?

It appears he has been suspended by American Suzuki.....

maybe this was a pre-emptive move to keep the AMA from levying fines against him. Then again, this is the same moron that laid across the track last year at Virginia International Raceway to get the race redflagged so maybe he does need to be taught a lesson. Dumb ass........

ok, the AMA does fine and suspend him......

one race meet and $5g..........I'd say mostly symbolic since they say he wasn't at fault either............
