My first O7 R6 Mod :-)

The first of what probably will be many mods to come. Have been looking into Fender Eliminator Kits for a while. Since the stock whatever you want to call it, looks ugly as SIN lol. So I ended up buying http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=180329879950&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWNX%3AIT&viewitem= got it for cheap in my eyes, since from what I see out there. These kits can get quite expensive for something so simple.

Here we have it
Before

After

Let me know what you think.
Did I mention I love my R6

Re: My first O7 R6 Mod :-)

thinking of getting this kit from the same guy on ebay...was it hard to install? did you have to splice any wires? does the license plate need to be lit up at night to be legal? thanks

Nice, the fender eliminator MOD should be the first mod to get on any street bike as it really improves the look of the beautiful ass of the R6.

I got a fender eliminator kit, but chose to get the signals integrated into my tail lights so I didn't have any signals sticking out in the back. But if I had chosen to keep signals...I would have got something like yours

Re: My first O7 R6 Mod :-)

looking good... next:

1) pull off the "warning" stickers on the tank
2) remove the reflectors on the forks
3) change out those "curb feeler" front signals for something less cancerous looking.

looks good though...
