Re: The louder the better

i have the graves motogp slip on - and its plenty loud - well at least from what the neighbors say...haha

I love the sound of alot of them

termignoni, racefit, akrapovic all have amazing sound. go to youtube and search for r6 exhausts and you will be able to decide for yourself!

Re: The louder the better

slip ons dont make it very loud since that huge ass muffler that they rigged all to hell is under there.. I disected one back in 06 when i got my raven and they sure did rig it so you have to buy a full system to get any good sound. if i had to do it all over again now that the parts are actually available id buy that MJS header and leave the stock slip on or maybe a akropovic or arrow slip on with it. way cheaper than those full aftermarket systems.

Re: The louder the better

also look up MIVV GP... i have it on my S (06 R6S) and the sound is great... i get lots of compliments (from girls too )... but yeah the newer r6 models have some of the "exhaust" parts in the mid-pipe so installing a slip-on only will do half the job hence suggestion to go with full system....

good luck with your search

I just picked up an 06 with a gytr slip-on... it sounds alright to me. It could definitely sound better.

Re: The louder the better

I've got the Jardine GP-1 it's loud as hell. And IMO it's the best looking slip on too. I don't like mufflers.

Re: The louder the better

A slip on isn't going to do much for you with out a mid pipe. You can take your can completely off and it won't be much louder because of the cat.

Re: The louder the better

Man i just got that hotbodies slash cut and it sounds really good and i painted it flat black on my raven.. i definately think it looks damn good. plus i only payed 50 bucks for it..the other ones are just over priced, unless you actually plan on going full exhaust.
