Thank You R6-Forum Members...
What's up ladies and gents, I'm Ryan.
I've been pretty much lurrrrrking on here for a while and decided to finally create an account not too long ago. Never had the chance to post up and introduce myself until now.
I plan on getting my license soon and purchasing a used R6 in the future. I have some limited riding experience, but I have tried out a GSXR in a parking lot at toddler crawling pace from a friends buddy. Also rode a neighbors 250 around my community a few times. Hopefully, I can practice more, take MSF, get a license, grab a bike, and in the future meet some of you SO.CAL guys. I'm not so sure if I want an R6 as a first bike, but the more I read on here the more I want to give it a shot. I've read the numerous posts along the lines of making sure you absolutely positively respect the power and keep your riding in check to your own pace. That for sure is the road I'll be taking whether or not I decide on an R6.
Anyways, I said thank you in my title because I really wanted to give thanks and let you all know that I appreciate the atmosphere and attitude in here by you veteran members (well, most haha). I've been on other forums and they are... not so friendly to the new guys asking for help and questions. Everyone in here seems so supportive and open to helping us out. Boards are intimidating, especially for us n00bs. But here, you all seem to have open arms and very welcoming.
Hope to post more often!
And thanks again!
