i have a yosh trc exhaust for my 2009 r6. i was wondering if anyone has or has any input on taking the loop in the exhaust out right before the muffler and just making a pipe that goes from the header straight to the muffler. anyone have any input? good or bad?
y on earth u wanna remove the "loop" ? its already a great full system.theres a reason y yoshi did it thru research all that.u only makin it worse if u mod a 'researched proven full system".keep it like it is bro
thats why i was asking before i touched it, i just havent seen many systems with that so i was wondering why it was there, seems kinda restrictive having it looped like that thats the only reason i was thinking of removing it
Leave it looped, the only pain in the ass is cleaning it. Its already lighter than the stock exhaust. Having the loop how it is doesn't affect the bike unless you lower your bike...it could scrape if you're packing someone and hit a pot hole or something. But I wouldn't "unloop" it.
