Adjusting idle on '03 & '04 R6

You turn this thing in to raise the idle, and turn it out to lower the idle. JUST like on carbureted bikes!!!

Re: Adjusting idle on '03 & '04 R6

it's a gold colored screw above the clutch cover. if you have a 06 and up, they removed it.
but there still is a way to adjust it. it's a screw on the throttle bodies.

Re: Adjusting idle on '03 & '04 R6

ya i had the same exact problem with my 04 r6... i just adjusted the idle a bit... its really easy.. you can do it without taking off any panels and you can do it by hand... i just turned it up to like 750-800 rpm range.. works great
