Engine ice for regular street use?

Going to the track for the first time in west palm beach. They recommend changing to engine ice. Can I keep it after the track for regular street riding or change to another coolant?

Re: Engine ice for regular street use?

Why do you think it wouldn't be suitable for street riding?

Re: Engine ice for regular street use?

I run engine ice in my 04 R6... I flushes the coolant when I got it and have been running ice for about 5 months with no problem. Iv never had the bike at the track. But it seems to be fine for street use.

Re: Engine ice for regular street use?

since you are in FL... try reducing your coolant concentration ration to much less than 50/50. Try no more than 20% glycol.

You can run the engine ice all year round.

Cool Re: Engine ice for regular street use?

I recently changed my 05 R6 over to it. Running cooler, and my fans pop on less. It is worth switching to Engine Ice even if you are not on the track!
