Back on a R6 (wrecked rebuild)

Itís been awhile. I sold my 08 R6 a few years ago, and bought a 09 R1 (my dream bike). Iíve taken my R1 to the track, and I just canít get use to it. It has a lot of power, and I keep making mistakes (amazed I havenít wadded it up yet). So I was thinking, why not go back to the R6? With that bike, I remembered that (to me), I could push myself a lot more and feel more confident. So the opportunity came to last week, and I bought a wrecked, clean titled 09 R6? Canít wait to get started.

R1 is too much you say? Hmmm. I've never had one on the track, so I'll be really midful when I get a chance to do that.

Chillin'... while the Lord watches over me!

I love my R6, but...there's no buts...

Pictures finally added. My son and I went to work on it today. A lot of work ahead.

Re: Back on a R6 (wrecked rebuild)

My guy didn't lose the fairing screws but removed all the push-lock fasteners & didn't replace any- using a couple wireties to hold the rear fairing stuff together. Probably have put a dozen fasteners in empty holes at this point...
