Wrecked R6 Rebuild

Hey yall! Long time anonymous forum stalker who finally decided to make an account.

In January of this year I picked up a 2005 R6 that had been laid down, used as a stuntbike after that, and then finally came to me. Needless to say it was in pretty rough shape. Wasn't running but would crank and fire off of ether.

So far I have replaced:
All fairings
Headlight assembly
Taillight and wiring
Intake ducting
Fuel pump (the stock one was cut for god knows why and JB-Welded back together in some sort of hackery)
Fuel Tank (because the threads for the fuel pump were all cross threaded with some nasty RTV to "seal" it)
Fuel Injectors
Valve adjustment
Replaced starting circuit relay
TONS of wiring issues (lots of stuff elec-taped together *cringe*)
Replaced broken/bent brake lever
Added a Two Bros muffler because it was just open headers when I got it
Added a Power Commander Fuel Controller
Added TST front turn signals
Added BMC air filter
Added TST license plate mount

She's definitely a work in progress but we are getting there!

It seems like every day I find something else I need/want to fix on it. Yesterday on my ride home from work I got the front tire up and as it started to pull up the engine sputtered and dropped back down. So now im gonna pull apart the kill switch assembly and check the contacts on that.

Heres a little before-and-after action for ya!

Let me know what you think, what mods I should consider, etc!

Good work so far! Sounds like you ran into a lot of cringeworthy "fixes". Seema the bike was better off with you anyways. 👍

I still find myself adding things to mine. Its a sickness, and im not ashamed of it. 😎

Thanks yall, I keep finding all kinds of fun stuff. This week I found the rear brake rotor was installed backwards causing the bolt heads to sit too far out and hit the caliper bracket. And when I fixed that the rear wheel bearings decided to seize up
