Gen 1 tranny swap ended with NEW motor

So I found a motor on face book for 200 had harness ecu garage cluster everything. So I drive 4 hours one way to pick it up. It had been sitting for a while. And I seen that water had gotten in cylinder 4 and a little in 3. Made sure it turned over and chanced it and threw it in the back of the truck and on my way back home the whole time thinking somethings got to be wrong internally. Well I get it back and pull the head off and OMG the cylinders are perfect like it’s brand new. So I decided to jus put the gen 2 granny in this motor. Let me say this thing has very low miles!!! I mean it looks like it had been sitting since 99. It still had stock filter on it!! Only thing someone threw a chain but the damage is many bad at all and someone repaired it!!! But I got the tranny in and the case back together and bottom half DONE!!! I’m gonna post pics!! I can’t believe it and it came worth a harness which I was needing!! Also my bike isn’t down while I do he build and I’m going through the WHOLE thing with a fine tooth come and building it better than it is if that’s possible!!! Also a ecu gauge cluster everything bonus!!! So does anyone have a starting circuit relay to sell. It had on I put it on got maybe 100 yards up the street then I dies!!! Thanks and let me know what you think and if I did a good job!!!

Bottom end done. Now getting into the head which was where the water did the most damage. Gonna have to switch out a few intake valves but alll in all the head is jus like the motor hardly ANY miles!! I never come across deals like this and if I do I don’t have the money so I’m Pumped to get it done and put it in the bike. After that it’s all cosmetic stuff and straightening the abuse the previous dumbass did!! But it’s never really over is it??!?!?

Ok so I’m a little late but really don’t matter cause I don’t think anyone is reading but still got the old motor out and all the stuff swapped that I needed. Got it in the bike and fired her up and she purrs like a kitten!!! I’ll post the video of her running later on but here some pics of the old motor out of the bike! Also of the new harness that was a bonus with the motor along with gauage cluster and ecu!!! It’s way more neat and not cut up like my old harness!!!
