R6 636 build

So I’m wanting to tear down my 07 r6r over winter. I’m thinking about doing a wisco 636, port and polish heads, and degree the cams. I’ve been watching partzillas how to’s on YouTube and between my friend and I (he’s been a mechanic for 15+ years)we think we can do it. What are your thoughts? Except for replacing every washer, gasket, and stretch bolt what else should I be replacing? And before someone says anything no I don’t want a R1. My bike already has 34k miles and a rebuild is probably a good idea anyways. I would love to hear your thoughts and opinions of this. Also what else should I do when the engine is already out?

“Officer i swear to you this bike cant go over 100mph”
