They should hand these out at all drivers license offices while applying for a learners permit

Good read- I have friends who ask me to teach them to ride on my R6, I tell them: it's better to start on a small 250.
My first bike was a 2005 ZX-6R :/

My first bike was a 2 Cylinder 1985 Honda rebel 250.
My second was a 2 Cylinder 2005 Buell Blast 500.
Now I'm on my R6. I'll be sending this out to my noob buddies, too.

PS. I love this part: "Going fast in a straight line takes no skill, and cruising past the mall in a wifebeater and sandals takes even less."

The guy that finished second.
"The guy that finished second" who?
Exactly.

When my mother was pregnant with me, they did an ultrasound and found she was having twins. When they did another ultrasound a few weeks later, they discovered that I had adsorbed the other fetus. Do I regret this? No, I believe his tissue has made me stronger. I now have the strength of a grown man and a little baby.

It does. It tells them in the beginning to take the M.S.F.

And then to get gear.

And then it tells them what they can't ride.

I agree with the article and hope it helps some people make the right decision. Starting on a GS500 was the best motorcycling decision I've made.
