Need help identifing a used r6.

I just bought what i think to be an 02 yamaha r6. The title says its an 02 yamaha r6.the vins match the title etc. But when i look at other r6's listed as 02 year models they have different front headlights. I know the bike had been laid down i can see scratches on the clutch handle and end of the handle bar. I can tell the paint isnt original just becuase of the texture but cannot find visible repairs to the fairings themselves. I know nothing about r6's at all. Other than that the bike is ridiculously clean, incredibly low miles and stupid fast. My questions are
what year cowl is on it?
Is it truelly a yzf r6?
Did i get a good deal knowing it didnt have an original windscreen and headlight?
Am i wrong is that the original windscreen?

Buddy what you got its a yzf 600, way similar to a R6 but mostly street bike. It is good one though. i serviced one not long time ago and has a more relaxing riding position.

Txwaver46 thanks. I just assumed all yamaha 600's where all r6's. I really like the bike. It rides really well is, really smooth and appears damn near brand new. Does it have the same engine, gear box etc as the r6? Or is it a different animal all together? I purchased it for 1000 dollars with a clean title. I havent found anything wrong with the bike so far other than it had been repainted. The gear box is good and shifts smooth. The engine will pull all the way to the red line without hesitation or breakup. It jad brand new tires and brakes on it. No oil leaks. I havent done any adjustment to the suspension but it seems to be spot on. The previous rider and i are pretty much the same hieght and build. All the lights etc work. And the odometer and service history shows an actual 17,000 miles. What am i missing? What have i over looked? Why was i able to get this bike so cheap?

You got a good deal righ there. You had that cheap because old models are losing value quicker. Good thing is there are not leak at all. R6s are intended for track so the difference are mostly adjustments, also they can produce more rpms. Im pretty sure If you keep a good maintenance of your bike it will last longer than a normal R6.

What is the red line on the r6 compared to the yzf? This one redlines at 14,000-15,000 rpm and it will pull all the way up to the redline. I cant imagine a bike producing more rpm than that.😓

As you can see it redlines pretty high and i was able to get it all the way up to the red line. It is pretty sluggish until about 600 grand and then kicks in pretty hard like it spooled up a turbocharger.
