Spark plugs

Are OEM plugs just as good as aftermarket or is there any increase in performance/longevity with aftermarket? If there are plugs that are suppose to be some of the best, which are they? Thanks.

I think all you're going to find is the NGK plugs it comes with available. If they have a platinum plug a available get them. The stock dual ground electrode is a good plug but it's done around 8k miles in a R6

Re: Spark plugs

The NGKs are fine. Denso will work just as well assuming you get the plug corresponding to NGK CR10EK for an '06+ (or the spark plug needed for your model year as you didn't share that info.).

At that level, it's really about politics, money, manufacturability, and quality.

Iridium is some of the best material to handle the work load, followed by platinum, followed by...

Chillin'... while the Lord watches over me!

I love my R6, but...there's no buts...
